Panels
     My new
paintings.  A series that is the cohesive integration, a consolidation
of many aspects of my creative life.  The tension between abstraction and realism driven by graphic forms and surfaces of Line, Images, Symbols and Color.

     The paintings are allegorical.
Bio-morfic shapes and most of all, color with
classic proportions that drive these new works from the Bauhaus forward.

Panel paintings consist of fragments and items for the viewer to re-discover,
seen with new eyes.  Integrated and inspired by works of Albers, Matisse,
Klee, Mondrian, Noland,
Malevich and Johns, to name a few.
I see them as  “... eight sentences toward a self."

Each work of art is comprised of four individual panels 12" x 24",
with the overall dimension of four feet by two feet.

Eight paintings are planned.  More Images are being created!
